Litigation Paralegal

Location: San Francisco, CA (In-Person)

Experience: 3-5 Years

Firm Size: Medium-sized law firm

Reports To: Assigned Litigation Attorneys

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support three attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative, medium-sized law firm environment. This is an in-person role based in our San Francisco office and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in litigation support from case inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive litigation support to three attorneys across multiple active matters

Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence

Manage all aspects of discovery, including document collection, review, production, and preparation of discovery indexes

Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files

Perform legal and factual research as directed

Coordinate filings with state and federal courts, including e-filing and service of process

Track and manage deadlines, calendars, and litigation timelines

Assist with deposition preparation, including exhibit binders and summaries

Support trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibit lists, and trial binders

Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors

Qualifications & Experience

3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, in a law firm setting

Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures

Proficiency with e-filing systems and litigation support software

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of professionalism and discretion

Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
